Lesson 3 serving sweets
Now I will serve the Japanese sweets before making tea
The reason why we serve sweets before tea is because Japanese green tea has a bitter flavor.
To taste thte better taste more deeply, we eat sweets before drinking tea.
Those are made of red bean paste and white bean paste.
The taste is very simple but the appearance is beautiful
And it changes to seasons to seasons.
In a traditional tea ceremony, guests have to eat all the sweets before drinking tea
However this is casual tea ceremony, and more like an experience, so you can either leave half for after to enjoy with tea or take home or anything you’d like to do
